While this term wraps up over here I am making sure I have all the ingredients for easy meals that are still nutritious and delicious. One of my favorite breakfasts for a busy day is overnight oats. I love these because you can make them the night before and take them with you on the go. They are also super versatile and can easily change to fit your favorite flavor for the day. Here is an easy non-recipe so you can make your own overnight oats!
Oats: one part oats (easy)
Liquid: one part liquid (anything you like: any type of milk or water)
Sweetener: add a little bit of your favorite sweetener (maple syrup, honey, agave, anything)
Flavors: add a little dash of cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa powder, or anything you like to give your oats some flavor
Extras: add in some fruits, nuts, seeds, nut butter, protein powder, jam, really anything you want for breakfast!
Put everything in a jar with a lid, give a really good shake to mix it all together, and pop it in the fridge. In the morning grab a spoon and enjoy!
My favorite flavor combo at the moment is chocolate and peanut butter with mixed berries!
