Coffee is packed full of antioxidants that can help combat free radicals in the body.
Free radicals can come from pollution, uv (sun) damage, cigarette smoke, industrial chemicals, and some normal metabolic processes. Free radicals can cause damage to your cells if they are left to their own devices. Luckily, antioxidants help to stop free radicals from causing damage in the body’s cells. Lucky for all of you coffee lovers (myself included) out there, coffee happens to be one great source of antioxidants.
If you are not a coffee drinker don’t stress! Antioxidants can be found in lots of food and beverages like berries and green tea as well so you won’t be missing out just because you’re not a fan.
